maple concord

October 15th, 2010

It’s happy time again! I’m definitely getting into the fall spirit with this drink. Concord grapes, not only beautiful but super flavorful, paired with good old maple syrup puts the happy in happy hour. Well, that or the whiskey, but whatever.

Cheers! I hope you have a great weekend!

This is going to be my cocktail for this weekend’s event. Concord grape and maple syrup sounds just right.

And to make the maple simple syrup, equal parts maple syrup and water?

This is just too perfect…I’m already thinking of spins on this…bourbon, roasted lemon (only cause one was used as a garnish last weekend at a restaurant and in it went into the to-go box and I’m using the hell out of it.

I can’t wait to make this tomorrow after my chiropractors appt…I’m sure as hell gonna need it :)

What a pretty color! I would expect this to be more purple, but I love the pink.
